Rollcanada(seinor admin)

Screen shot, recording or other evidence (if available*)(statement: On

Wednesday June 5th at aprox.1315hrs. I Larry J James Barnaik Jr. AKA SPV_Bladebow

witnessed Admin Lorenzo stop all comms in teamspeak and reprimand a public player

i cannot remember the name of said player. After normal coms were reestablished

i made the statement "Admin, please pull the player you are dressing down to a

separate channel its no cool to do that in open channel." then Lorenzo pulled me

into a separate channel and informed me that i was just a guest on his

server.and not to interfere with his performing of his admin duties. I then

requested a senior admin if he was going to continue to be unreasonable. i was

trying to tell him that its not good form to dress someone down in front of all

other users.

It is my recommendation that this Admin be reduced in rank one grade and

undergo additional training on the proper code of conduct when dealing with

other users of your well managed servers. As well as instruction on proper tact

needed when acting as a admin on any server. Everything in this report is true to the best of my memory. to this i swear.

Larry James Barnaik Jr.

In response to this misconduct report i would say, firstly when an admin is conducting his admin duties whether you like how its done or not, it is not your right to intervene whilst this being done and whilst you don’t know what the other player was doing for getting the reprimand. You in-turn voiced your opinion in the open channel thus contravening your own very said complaint. It is true that you are a guest on our server and whilst you may have a right to your opinion, that is all you have.

“In response to this misconduct report i would say, firstly when an admin is conducting his admin duties whether you like how its done or not, it is not your right to intervene” RESPONSE: well this was not done i waited until the ts server returned to normal conversation.

YOU: whilst this being done and whilst you don’t know what the other player was doing for getting the reprimand. RESPONSE: again this is also false as you made it clear in ts open channel what was done seeing as how you kept repeating it several times.

You at 1447hrs eastern did it again in open channel to the player Russian almost 5 minutes after the fact and after he was already told about it and he expressed his mistake and corrected it then you come into channel, johnny come late and belittle another regular user in front of everyone present. this is in my opinion (that of a 9year vet)conduct unbecoming an officer. you should show some personal pride and step down you clearly do not have a grasp of how to treat people. and to counter you comment on me being a guest may i remind you that its guests like us that assist in paying for the servers you so enjoy running.

I also sent 4 personal messages to Lorenzo in an attempt to settle this matter here are a copy of those same messages:

<14:38:58> “SPV_Bladebow”: you still dont get it
<14:39:05> “SPV_Bladebow”: i did not intrupt you
<14:40:17> “SPV_Bladebow”: and from your responce to the report i can see you still dont understand that getting angry is not the way to conduct yourself when dealing with people
<14:41:34> “SPV_Bladebow”: all i requested was that you pull the person out of channel to repremand them we dont want to hear it and its not fair to stop the whole ts server so you can repremand them in channel

SPV_Bladebow you are correct in most cases when an admin is reprimanding a player is should be done in a separate channel away from other players. But, I believe that informative correction in many cases should be done in the open channel. On an average day, we have between 50 and 100 new pilots on the server, and it does benefit all those players to know and understand the rules. The main reason we have a pilots channel is so that the admins can quickly and easily communicate with the pilots.

I will look into the specifics of this incident, but a first glance, although I am glad it was reported so that I can remind all admins of protocol, it does not qualify as “Admin Abuse”.

Thank you sir. i called it admin abuse because i really could not think of a more suiting name. maybe admin misconduct might be more accurate?
