UGV STROMPER

The Stomper is a remote controlled unmanned ground combat vehicle designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and support. It’s able to operate autonomously in large areas, while sending real-time data to the control center. Each wheel is powered by a separate electric engine, whose batteries are linked together to a diesel engine power unit. In tight situations, Stompers can be operated by a built-in manual control. An armed variant of the Stomper is fitted with a RCWS turret carrying a 40mm GMG and 12.7mm HMG. An OPFOR variant, designated Saif and Saif RCWS, is a cheaper and less reliable copy from the Asian region.

HUNTER

The Hunter is a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle manufactured by US arms factories to provide troops with enhanced protection. The armored hull can withstand light weapons and protects the crew against landmines and improvised explosive devices. Even though the heavy armor and powerful engine cause increased fuel consumption, it has been favored by frontline troops over the light vehicles for its easy maintenance and good protection level.

Armed version of the sturdy Hunter MRAP vehicle is fitted with a Remotely Controlled Weapons System turret. The turret is fitted with the universal 12.7mm heavy machinegun or the multi-role 40mm Grenade Machine Gun. The armed Hunters are used for troop transport in combat zones, as light reconnaissance vehicles or even in fire support role in COIN operations.

RHINO MGS UP

The Rhino MGS is the latest wheeled tank destroyer in NATO armored forces, designed for easy transportation to crisis regions. Its lightweight 120mm main cannon can use all conventional rounds including MARUK ATGMs, which increase its effective range to 8 km. The vehicle’s secondary weapon is the .338 magnum SPMG coaxial machinegun. The price paid for the Rhino’s great mobility and firepower is its light armor and low supplies of ammo and fuel. The ‘UP’ version is equipped with a remotely operated 12.7mm HMG and improved protection, provided by a cage and reactive armor. However, with this setup, it’s too bulky to fit into many transport vehicles, including the Blackfish VTOL.

VEHICLES TRACKED

ED-1D MINI UGV

This small tracked electric robot is built to traverse complex terrain, and can transmit a live camera feed so that its operator can remotely assess the situation. Wielding its multi-joint swivel arm, the UGV’s two primary uses are CBRN Defense and Explosive Ordnance Disposal. The Science variant, the ED-1E*, is essentially a driving laboratory with sensors, a sampling laser, and a biopsy probe. For military use, the ED-1D variant comes prepared with a mounted disruptor shotgun; ideal for demining operations and close encounters.

AWC NYX

The AWC 300 Nyx family consists of a number of light, fast and agile combat vehicles used by the AAF. While small and lightly armored, the Nyx can surprise enemies by striking from unexpected positions with its decent and accurate firepower. The anti-tank and air-defense variants are equipped with IR guided missiles and a 12.7mm HMG. The strike variant uses a 20mm autocannon and a 7.62mm coaxial machinegun. The recon variant is unarmed, but uses its radar and sensors to detect nearby threats and pass target data to friendly units via datalink. It can also paint targets with its laser designator, which is located on a telescopic mount.
