  5. Explanation, notes, etc.| I was aware of the no racism rule, however the word I used [spoiler]{“nigga”}[/spoiler] was not being used against anyone(unless you consider an AI a person). Many dont see this word as being racist especially if you are of African-American descent. I am never and never will be racist towards anyone but if thats how that word is viewed then I guess im racist.

It is a derogatory term in itself and it is wise on any server, or frankly anywhere at all, to not use words that are without a doubt racist terms or are derived from racism; regardless of intent. You don’t know who you are playing with online and their backgrounds so it is best to be more mature and avoid using those terms altogether. That’s just my two cents.

Theres no rules against derogatory terms and the definition of racism is as follows | noun
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior.
Nothing I just was discriminating or antagonizing anyone(besides an AI, but thats not a person).

From an outside observer - regardless if you do or do not think saying it toward the AI means little because it’s not “a real person” - someone else reading your comment can and will interpret it as you being racist, or ignorant to the effect the word has or had against a culture and demographic. Yes, unfortunately in some aspects, we all live in a very PC world (no pun intended) - I mean politically correct. Everyone has to do their best to avoid bringing unwanted and unnecessary attention to slanderous and racial/bias comments and words. I was in the military for 20 years - i worked with alot of people, black, white, asian, muslim… I never once thought it was OK to ever say some slang term jokingly and think it was cool with the guys, or gals. They would think of me as “that guy” after awhile. The stigma would stick

I think that applies here - you’re on a server that attracts a wide swath of players, all age ranges and backgrounds. We would prefer not to be known as the server that has people spewing words like that openly.

That is solely my opinion on the matter
