Hello, I would appreciate a review of my ban. I apologize if this is a duplicate post. I thought I had already posted a ban appeal, but I am not seeing it in the forums.
- Exact in game name. (Yes, we will know if you attempted to change your name, all aliases are bound to your steam account, so give us all of your aliases)
- Player Steam profile copy here (ex:Steam Community :: claws01)
- Screenshot, or word for word the ban message given upon entering.
You were kicked off the game. (BattlEye: Admin Kick (Banned Rule #15 for Perm - expires Perm. Entered by VileAce [Ad))
- Name of the admin, and approximate time of ban and the server you were banned from.
VileAce - Unknown time - NAK Altis
- Any explanation or justification. Reason the ban should be lifted.
I was told that I was banned for recruiting. This is not true. I had not been on in quite a while, as I was helping run another server. I got on and flew transport for about 45 minutes. I also got on and played with a friend for a couple of hours. The next time I tried to get on, I had been banned. I did not recruit on the server. My unit talked about coming and playing on the server as a unit, but never did. I did not tell other players about, or encourage them, to come play with my unit or on the server I was helping with.
You placed the first ban appeal at the wrong level of the forums, though it is still there I am going to delete it so that there is not confusion moving forward.
The day that you were banned on, in this case, is not relevant. Multiple players reported you and others for recruiting. Due to the seriousness of the report I attempted to contact you and the other players via Steam, email and the website PM. Once I made contact with one of the other players, if they were in your Steam group, I asked them to let you know that I was trying to reach you.
While I was waiting for you and the other accused individuals to contact me, I research the complaint. I reviewed the Steam text chats, TeamSpeak Channel chats, in game chats and screen shots provided by the reporting players. I also contacted the reporting players to get more information and I spoke to other Admins to see if they had heard of similar instances.
After waiting two weeks, I did not receive a response to my request for information, therefor using the information provided as well as verbal reports from Admins I was left no choice but to ban you for recruiting. If you had responded you would have had the opportunity to provide information in your defense, but there was overwhelming proof that you were using NAK resources to recruit for your Steam group and server.
