Was just contemplating ways that I could contribute further to the NAK community.
I realized that there isn’t a place on the site where command talks about long term mission goals, short term objectives, or upcoming mechanics/map changes that are in the pipeline. If there are skill sets that a few accountable responsible volunteers in the NAK family can contribute towards some of those aforementioned objectives or tasks, they might be an untapped resource.
Are there “things”(skills/tasks) that the ADMIN/CMD staff need assistance with?(QA, documentation, administrative minutia)
Are there simple site posts that don’t require a huge amount of review or moderation that ADMIN/CMD staff would find helpful to new users?
Are there specific professional skill sets that the ADMIN/CMD staff would appreciate volunteers for?
I don’t want to create additional work for the team, i’m just looking for a way to contribute and I feel that more people might want to know how they too can give a little back to … NAK.

First thank you for your interest in wanting to help further the NAK Community. In regard to “a place on the site where command talks about long term mission goals, short term objectives, or upcoming mechanics/map changes that are in the pipeline.”
In the past we have not had a process that documents those items. The current development process is very unstructured, but we are changing that and one of the goals is to make “marketing” post about upcoming and recent changes (as well as recording a change log and later bug fixes). So having a user contribute to the process, at this time is not practical, but it is something that might be considered in the future.
As a general answer, we have community members complete task on a regular basis. Volunteer hours are required for the rank of Master Sergeant and above. To be assigned a task for those hours contact myself, and we will find a task that needs completing and falls within the members skill set.
At times I will make a post when we are looking for a group of users to work on a specific task. Recent examples include working on a uniform mod for NAK Squad, testing server changes and image/video development.
For any NAK community member that wishes to help, we will find them a task, whether it is a one time task or ongoing, that is of interest to the member and fits their skill set. Any user that volunteers at least 10 hours of time will be invited into the NAK donor unit.
Anyone interested in volunteering contact me via private message on the website, poke me on TeamSpeak, or email me at Vileace@mail.com.
