MISSION DETAILS - LONG VERSION THE MORE DETAIL THE BETTER:

Flight of two MH-53E Super Stallions practicing formation flight off the western coast of Altis. WARHORSE 1 reported that WARHORSE 2 was experiencing a Main Gearbox Fire and had to perform Emergency Landing Procedures Southeast of Kavala. Due to Emergency Procedures all electrical is shutoff on WARHORSE 2 and Radio Comms could not be established via Long Range frequencies. Fifteen minutes later WARHORSE 1 declared “MAYDAY” with no further comms. WARHORSE 1 EPIRB activated and triangulation has located WARHORSE 1 Northeast of Kavala.

SOFCOM elements in the town of Kore have been requested to divert from their intelligence gathering from local rebel militia and secure the two possible crash sites with support from infantry units mounted in HMMWV SOV (M2) that are performing convoy training outside the town of Agios Dionysios.

Infantry is to Medevac any wounded or KIA (body bags in HMMWV SOV (M2)) to the northeast at the Stadium where RHINO 1 and RHINO 2 will land and collect wounded or KIA and return to FOB. Infantry units are to mount up in their HMMWV SOV (M2) and return to Agios Dionysios.

SOFCOM is to destroy WARHORSE 1 and WARHORSE 2 if deemed not salvageable and rendezvous at the Stadium and return with RHINO 1 and RHINO 2.

SIPRNET resources state enemy MANPADS may have been deployed in the surrounding area by funding from Soviet forces to local Takistani forces. Unknown at this time how many Takistani forces are in the Western region of Altis but reports show they have the advantage of high ground around Kavala. Infantry and SOFCOM are to be cautious in MEDEVAC operations.

Civilians are present in the town of Kavala. ROE remains Weapons Tight.
