While patching yourself it would be great to stop doing that and move off when you are getting shot to pieces. More realistic and flexible to stay engaged rather than respawn. 
This option should be available for whenever anyone is healing in any way or when a medic is healing in any way as well. I saw a Cancel option when a medic and prone and healing.
We must use the vanilla healing options at this time which does not have a way to cancel.
Ok. I understand it’s not a high enough priority in the larger scheme of things. Perhaps, one day.
